Jon Wood of MMORPG brings us the second part of his interview with Lord of the Rings Online Executive Producer Jeffrey Steefel, where they discuss The Mines of Moria, Turbine's console aspirations, and Book 14.
“We’re in the final stages of Book 14,” Steefel answered when I asked him what projects were in full swing over at Turbine. “We also have another group of people who are working very hard on Moria, which is coming together.”
"The idea of a full expansion is not only exciting for players, but is also a lot of work for the developers, especially given that Turbine plans to make Mines of Moria the first of yearly expansion releases. “Moria is going to be the first of annual expansions, so we’re already at the planning stage of what that’s going to be like at the end of 2009,” he said."

ZBoard just introduced their Age of Conan limited edition keyset. Personally, I have used ZBoard products for over 3 years. MMORPG managing editor, Jon Wood, recently reviews his own experience with using the ZBoard:
"This is where the Zboard premise really shines. The Gaming Keyboard, which has an area on the left meant specifically for gamers with a d-pad and easy access to the buttons that you need to do things like switch weapons quickly in a fight, jump over obstacles and the like."
I have no complaints about this key set, as I really did find that it improved my gaming experience considerably, making it a little bit easier and improving my reaction times in games like Battlefield 2142. I had no problems with the installation and everything went well. Throw in on top of that the fact that the software comes equipped with key mapping templates for a wide variety of games: Battlefield 2142, Call of Duty 4, EverQuest II, City of Villains, World of Warcraft, Bioshock and others (there are over 50 in total).

TenTonHammer obtains Op-CORE documents and exclusive Castle Screenshots.
"The United States government is at it again! This time the Ten Ton Hammer staff has received a number of images from an “anonymous” source depicting several environments from one of the “Stargate Worlds”. The images that were acquired depict “the Castle” – the headquarters of a secret organization known as the Op-CORE. These are some of the first images ever leaked about the Op-CORE, and they come to you exclusively from Ten Ton Hammer!"
"There’s a conspiracy going on, and it’s right underneath our noses. It seems that a bit of classified information regarding the highly secretive “Stargate” government program has fallen into the hands of the Ten Ton Hammer staff, and as righteous reporters we can’t help but publish the information that we’ve gleaned. These memos come straight from the staff at Cheyenne Mountain – which includes names like Jack O’Neill and General Hammond – and describes a covert off world operation known as Op-CORE. If you’re a concerned citizen of the United States, make sure you read these memos."
